To become a Member of the Association you need to apply through the website bava.org stating name, home and email address, and paying the membership fee for the current year ended 31 March. If you apply for membership during the period January to March, the initial membership will run until the end of March in the following year. An email address is needed to receive the newsletter and other notifications.
Membership is retained by continuing to pay the fee once every year thereafter.
Lifetime membership of the Association can be obtained by paying a once only fee of £500.
You may cancel your membership, for any reason, at any time but the membership fee is non-refundable unless cancellation is requested within 14 days of such payment and no benefits of membership have been availed such as ordering recordings, attending webinars for free, or receiving the journal Gochara by mail without charge.
RECORDINGS OF CONFERENCE LECTURES & WEBINARS
Sale of recordings of past Conferences and webinars can be purchased only by being a paid-up member of the Association.
You may attend the annual conference whether or not you are a member by paying the advertised attendance fee.
CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE CANCELLATION
Requests for refunds of conference fees paid in advance have to be made at least two weeks before the first day of the event. However, refund requests arising out of extenuating circumstances, such as sudden illness, may be given at any time prior to the event. Such cancellations will incur a £30 cancellation fee which will be deducted from the refundable amount unless such fee is waived at the discretion of the Association.
