Gajakeśarī Yoga depicts the struggle between the mind and the soul, wherein the native is torn between the pulls of the saṅsāra and sannyāsa. Natalia Fedorova: Vāhana yoga
The word Vahana is generally associated with a vehicle or draught-animal, used for the act of carrying or conveying. Another meaning for the word is the act of making effort, endeavoring, exertion. In this talk we will discuss Vāhana yogas given by Parashara in Sukha-bhāva-phala-adhyāya (Chapter about results of 4th house) including Yanavanta Yoga that allows one person to easily climb to the pinnacle of success while keeping the others stuck with nothing at all in their lives. We will then look at various examples using appropriate Vargas, Kārakas viz. Venus and Moon and the concept of traditional vāhanas of the Vedic Gods.
Vijaya Subramanian: Kevala Yogada
When the Moon is disposited by the Atma Karaka, there is Kevala yoga and when this position is connected to Lagna, then it bestows a Kevala Yogada, connecting the mind with the consciousness. Kevala is a term associated with Shiva or Advaita Vedanta representing non- duality, fullness (purnatvam) and ananda. Vijaya will be examining the horoscopes of persons with this Kevala yogada to determine how it functions and facilitates them in their lives.

Mariella Cassar: Combinations for mental illness and schizophrenia
The subject of mental illness is extensive. Apart from many different types of personality disorders the two most serious illnesses are schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Even within schizophrenia there are several types. We will first look at the combinations that predispose to mental illness and then at charts of schizophrenics to identify common astrological combinations for various forms of this illness.
